Happy Day from the family of Hartford First to you
and yours!
Christ is building HIs Church and we are blessed to be 'living
stones' in His construction plan.
Tonight at Hartford First we welcome PowerHouse Praise Band
and traveling gospel entourage from Bangor, PA. They will be
with us from 6pm and then on to Second Church of the Nazarene
in Boston on Saturday for an open-air concert.
This Saturday we welcome Devoted (pictured here) along with
another exciting gospel band for an open-air concert at 4pm.
You will want to bring your folding chairs, family and
friends.

Tonight, live and direct from Bangor, PA, on center stage at
Hartford First, Powerhouse Praise Band - a 15 member gospel
group leading us in worship, praise and celebration of our Lord
through music, drama, Scripture, testimony and prayer.
Come one, come all! Bring family and friends to this exciting
evening - a part of our annual Vacation Bible School.
Concert starts at 6pm. Come early and get great seats, and be
blessed by the ministry of God's Word. |

solitary place, and there He prayed."

our churches, for the anointing of God's Holy Spirit and for the

Vacation Bible School is happening and all children, from
kindergarten to teens are most welcome. Last evening, inspite
of very rainy conditions we had 80 brave souls who weathered the
storm to be with us. Tonight Powerhouse Praise band from
Bangor, PA will be our special guests; and on Saturday at 4pm
Devoted and another surprise gospel band will be at
Hartford First for an open-air concert. Bring your folding
chairs, family and friends and join us. You will be blessed!

Youth Festival is now a Gospel Festival
And its happening next Saturday, August 1st, 2009 from 10am to
6pm - an entire day of fellowship, fun, food for the whole
family, you and your friends and its all FREE, FREE, FREE!
Regeneration Band will be in the house for times of great
music. Special games for the kids and youth, health screenings
for all by the good people of Hartford Hospital and much, much
more.

My Church
This Sunday, holiness preacher Rev. Cedric King will be sharing
on the theme "My Church" - The Church We See; The Church We
Seek; The Church Christ is Building and Blessing. You will
want to hear this for yourselves and invite family and friends
to be a part of this anointed experience.
Cedric's experiences include a combined 34 years as Senior
Pastor, Director of Music, Evangelist and Revival Speaker in the
Caribbean, United Kingdom and Europe, Canada, the United States
and Central and South America. At age 16, he served as Associate
Pastor with Rev. Aaron Blache at the Santa Cruz Church of the
Nazarene (Trinidad), at age 19 he accepted the call and served
as Senior Pastor of the Speightstown and Westmoreland Churches
of the Nazarene (Barbados) for a combined 22 years of ministry,
then served as Senior Pastor at Cumuto Church of the Nazarene
(Trinidad) and Immanuel Church of the Nazarene (Boston).
In 1981, Cedric created a four hour Sunday Gospel program on
Voice of Barbados 790FM (Barbados) and two one-hour Children's
shows which he produced, directed and anchored over a five year
period. He is currently an Eastern Nazarene College Adjunct
Professor in the Graduate and Professional Development program
(LEAD) teaching the full range of Business courses as well as
Speech and Professional Communication. Rev. King is the
founding Dean of the Faith Bible Institute, base in Boston, MA.
Both he and his wife Jacqueline are Massachusetts License Real
Estate Brokers, parents and grandparents of some eighteen
children.
The Kings' desire is to be fully used by God to bring the
blessing of abundant living to all of the family of God,
utilizing their excellent organizational and people skills,
God-given talents, and the anointing of the Holy Spirit to
assist the Church of Jesus Christ in fulfilling its mission and
purpose of preparing Christian citizens for holy living.
You will want to share in this blessing yourselves but you will
also wish to bring family and friends for the moving of God's
Spirit in this worship, fellowship, stewardship and
discipleship journey.

Center for Surely the Prsence of the Lord is in this
Place. There we can Bow to Him Alone
and have Him Prepare us to be a Sanctuary.
Come pray the Lord of the Harvest that He might send reapers
into the fields; for lo, the fields are ripe unto harvesting.

In Appreciation |

Our appreciation this week goes to Rev. Basdeo for the dilligent
sharing of the Word with us last Sunday. To those who led the
music, read the Scripture and prayed, served as ushers and
greeters, assisted with the cleaning of the sanctuary and campus
- may God richly bless your patient efforts to His glory.
Thanks to Sis Joan Mascoll and Sis Barbara who gives oversight
to our VBS and children. To all the teachers and workers who
assist them. God richly bless you as you pour your love upon
Jesus Christ who loves you, has loosed you from your sins and
has lifted you to be kings and priests unto Himself. To Him be
wisdom and majesty, dominion and power, both now and
forevermore. To God be the glory!
